How to Use
Earthworm Chow

Some Vermicomposters sprinkle Earthworm Chow lightly over the top of the bedding, moisten with water then add a worm blanket or damp newspaper. Our worms like it sprinkled an inch or so under the top of the bedding. The key is to moisten the Chow.

Be certain the Earthworm Chow is consumed before adding the next serving. Usually every few days. Earthworm Chow in large amounts will sour and bring in undesirable bacteria that will harm your worms. Less amount more frequently served is best.

Store Earthworm Chow in an air-tight container at room temperature or keep in the fridge or freezer. Can be served chilled or frozen as it warms fast.

Earthworm Chow is intended for earthworms especially species of Red and Composting worms. Earthworm Chow is not intended for Meal Worms. At DLG, we prepare a separate recipe for Mealie Chow.

Many ways to serve Earthworm Chow! Experiment and see what your herd prefers!
